EXACT stands for EXTESSY Automated Conformance Test and was developed in with Audi Electronics Venture GmbH. It is a highly efficient test tool for automation and controlling. EXACT offers a framework for the recording, implementation and documentation of customer-specific test processes.
EXACT supports you in checking MATLAB®/Simulink®-, Stateflow®- or dSPACE-TargetLink® models for system behaviour in various challenging scenarios in automated test series. EXACT offers a particularly hands-on and high-performance solution whenever you have to deal with a large number of scenarios/test cases.
Main benefits of EXACT:
1. Managing different test configurations in XML format involves:
compiling test cases
selecting different analysis functions (performance report)
configuration of automatically generated reports
2. Automatic implementation of configured tests includes simple call-up and start-up of the respective test configuration. The test results will be analysed and stored.
3. Automatic generation of test reports includes making test results available as PDF and HTML documents. It is also possible to incorporate signal manipulations of various input signals in this report.
EXACT upgrade options:
EXACT MSP
With MIL/SIL/PIL (MSP) it is possible to test models not only in the simulation mode “Model-in-the-loop“, but also as “Software-in-the-loop“ and “Processor-in-the-loop“. This is only possible for dSPACE-TargetLink® models in the current version.
As a result, analysis methods and reference values can be selected very easily for each mode.
EXACT SM
With the help of signal manipulation, existing stimulus data can be very easily modified and in a number of ways. Existing test cases can be purposely distorted with manipulations such as variations in amplitude, sampling variations, noise etc. This means that the test object can easily be checked for robustness without having to generate new test data.
EXACT CTE
With the help of the CTE converter, test cases which have been prepared using the CTE XL® tool can be converted into EXACT file format. As a result, it is possible to use these test cases as a stimulus - as well as reference data.
EXACT MC
The ModelCoverage makes it possible to check the coverage of model paths for tests carried out at the same time.
Real recorded driving scenarios can now also be used as stimuli in the automotive industry. The results can be displayed alongside specified target behaviour for comparison. The subsequent documentation of test results is automatically generated. You see:
